GODDAMNED THAT FUCKING PEDIGREE DENTABONE COMMERCIAL!

I don't need to hear some slobbery-assed dog cracking away at a bone every few minutes while I'm trying to watch something interesting, at 'commercial' level volumes no less.   (I.e. compressor/limited to maximum legal power transmission levels...)

FUCK YOU PEDIGREE DENTABONE!

Fuck you National Geographic channel for running that damned spot.

I agree 100% with you!!! There is nothing more disgusting than listening to a dog eating. I have STOPPED buying their products since I don't want MY money being used to fund such annoying commercials!

I am not alone... dear God, thank you, I am not alone.
Really, even for the BIGGEST dog lover on the planet (not me)... how can this disgusting commercial encourage someone to actually buy their product? I can't decide who's the biggest idiot... the person who came up with the idea for the commercial, or the IDIOT responsible for saying "Yup, that's a great idea... here are the funds".
I hope all the dogs in their respective neighborhoods simultaneously take a crap on their front yards.
T.

I am relieved to see that I am not the only one annoyed by this repulsive series of commercials. I sure hope they take them off the air. I move to another channel whenever one of them is on.

The whole series of pedigree commercials are revolting. Fuck their marketing dept.

I have 2 dogs and that sound of them eating drives me up the wall. I want to find the moron that is comming up with these ads (3 so far) and beat them. I do not want to listen to bloody dogs eating. Why in gods name did anyone think this would make me want to go and buy there food for my dogs. It now has really made me not LOL. They would be better off getting Gilbert Godfrey to sell there dog food for them.

THANK YOU! I can't STAND these commercials!! They make me wanna be sick!! I was so annoyed with them that I actually emailed pedigree complaining about them (this is the only commerical that's sickened me to the point of emailing somebody), and they replied back stating that they're "sorry i'm offended by the ads", and that they went through extensive testing and found people actually enjoyed them...how someone could enjoy listening to a dog eat is beyond me.

I can't stand them either. I can't believe they're still running. It's not just the dogs eating but the mans quiet voice while the dog is eating that annoys me too. The whole commercial bothers me.

Somebody needs to be severely punished for creating these commercials!

I hate these commercials too. Sadly, I don't have a remote, so I actually have to sit through them. I don't have a dog, but if I ever get one, Pedigree can be sure that Dent-a-bone will not be on my shopping list.

Sadly, I have a feeling that they are happy with the commercials because they have a high "recall" rate. Personally I think that annoying the crap out of people has a negative effect regardless of how many people remember the commercial.

This is not the first commercial to annoy me, but it is the first one that prompted me to write to the producers. This is the reply I got:

We were sorry to learn of your disappointment with our DENTABONE commercial.

During the development of our commercials and advertisements, they are tested for acceptance by the intended target audience. Naturally we are upset that you found our our commercial to be offensive. We certainly did not intend to disappoint or offend our consumers in any way.

We do value your input and we will use your comments to assist in determining our future activities on the PEDIGREE brand.

Please be assured that a quality product is our primary concern and your confidence in our products is of the utmost importance to us.

- So who were the people that "accepted" those commercials???

I usually mute the tv when they come on because it's like listening to nails on a chalkboard. Today I was so irritated, I decided to google it just to see if I was the only one. THANK GOD I'M NOT ALONE. We should start a petition.

I thought I was the only one. I don't know what I find more annoying, the sound the dog makes when eating the bone or the narrators voice. He has the most annoying voice on the planet.

Nope, not alone. I abhor the narrator as well. If I don't get to the remote fast enough, I usually curse loud enough to drown out the sound.

I'm in the process of tracking down those responsible for the ads (writers, sound recorder, narrator). I plan to do them bodily harm, lol.

Sooooooo annoying. I hate these commercials so much, why do they keep making new ones?? Who could possibly think that sounds good? I seriously hope the dentabone is the last one, there was nothing wrong with their old commercials. The guy's smug voice makes me so pissed off and the sounds of the dog chewing make me want to vomit. Especially sucks when I'm trying to eat, the commercial always puts me in such a bad mood. I used to buy pedigree products for my dogs but have not purchased anything from them since they started airing those fucking commercials.

Count me in folks. I love dogs, but those ads are revolting. They say there is no such thing as bad publicity. Sorry folks. I will never buy another Pedigree product again!!!!! Call Pedigree at 1 800 667 2424 and, let me think, EAT AN APPLE WITH YOUR MOUTH FULL WHILE TELLING THEM THEIR ADS ARE OFFENSIVE.......

Fucking disgusting. And the voice of that guy isn't much better. I will never buy pedigree products.
